Jasmine

Jasmine/Beijing Museum of Contemporary Art was performed in Beijing on March 20, 2011. At the Beijing Museum of Contemporary Art, I was wrapped around by Jasmine flowers and bouquet and was put in the middle of a round pool. I was initially covered with a piece of black cloth. When the cloth was unfurled, I started to sing the Chinese folk song titled, Jasmine. The audience sang along. Then the funeral procession began. Assistants carried me out of the pool and circled the pool while funeral music was played. I was then put back in the pool.
