Climb/Nameless Mountain was performed at a nameless mountain in Beijing from May 20, 2011 to June 18, 2011 over a 30 day period. In May 2011, I left Song Zhuang Studio and started a half year residence program at Beijing Shangyuan Art Museum. There is a nameless mountain behind Beijing Shangyuan Art Museum. Climb was performed at this mountain with I carrying one piece of rock up the mountain every day and leaving it at the mountain top. I was alone for 5 days and was accompanied by other artists on the other 25 days. The daily trip took about 4-5 hours. On the last day, I threw all the rocks down the mountain. Each piece of rock was signed and dated by the artist.
